Since the 2024 National Senior Certification (NSC) examinations kick-off, Higher{Education and Training Minister, Dr Nobuhle Pamela Nkabane, has reminded all matriculants to seize the opportunity to make an application for funding in the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS).
"The application window will shut on 15 December 2024, and you will discover not many days left to submit applications. Qualified students are urged to apply immediately to secure financial aid for their post-school education," Nkabane said.
Nkabane extended well wishes to all matriculants, who sat for the National Senior Certificate Examinations, with learners writing languages, English and Afrikaans Paper three.
Nkabane stated this pivotal moment marks the fruits of many years of effort and encourages the Class of 2024 to approach their tests with dedication and self esteem.
With Just more than 880 000 candidates, including 727 121 full-time and 155,215 part-time candidates from throughout South Africa sit for this calendar year's matric exams, across South Africa, Basic Education Minister, Siviwe Gwarube, has assured the public from the department's click here preparedness to administer the examinations easily.
Nkabane highlighted a variety of possibilities available within the Post-School Education and Training (PSET) system, that is open up to all matriculants looking for more schooling and skills development.
The PSET system contains:
